Revelation is a book primarily written to the Christians of the early 1st and 2nd century christians, who at the time were being heavily persecuted.  Revelation was an encouragement to them to continue to serve.  The battle is already won, and no matter how much Christians think they are losing they in fact have already won.  Satan can bruise our heels, but Christ dealt the devil the fatal blow to the head, the day He died on the cross, and thus the prophecy was fufilled.

 

    This building is called a mosque.  Mosque's are temples of worship for the Muslims.  This particular one is referred to as the Dome of the Rock, which is in the spot of the Temple of Jerusalem. That was destroyed shortly before Jesus came.  Some theologians believe that the temple being built back up is a literal meaning others believe that it is referring to the body of those believers.  The body being referred to as a temple.  I shall give no opinion, because those that I have talked to that have been to Jerusalem believe it to be a literal interpretation, and those that I have talked to that have not been to the Holy Land believe it to be figurative.  To read of the Old Testament  Click Here!
